Bus rides CaN be fun

At the moment we are in Chiclayo , a seaside town. its 11.44pm and we arrived here about an hour and a half ago, we got some chips for dinner... claire had chicken and then i had a shower to get the bus feel away, (and the sunscreen ). The bus ride wasnt actully to bad , it was a fancy bus and two story, nicky and i got the front seat so we just had a huge window in front of us to watch Peru go by. There were a few drawbacks, it meant the hot sun was on us part of the way (the internal thermometer read 35*c ) and also meant we had to watch as the busdriver overtook when most people wouldnt. The lanscape changes really quikly here. Ecuador was mainly highland because we traveled down the centre, but here in peru the hills look more like Chile, dry with speckles of shrubs, and every now and then theres an oasis of palm trees. There was a zombie movie on part of the time, that made me uncomfortable, so i listened to my music and tried to nap . I read a book and a bit and then slept. Nicky was really tired by the end of it. It must be hard having such long legs in such cramped spaces. Tomorrow we are going to a museo that has some kind of tomb with mummies. Im not sure about the details, ill let you know after we´ve been. Then another bus ride tomorrow to a place starting with T .
